Artist's Description
Prairie church in the middle of nowhere setting on a hill. Upon spotting a sign for Dodson Prairie with an arrow, I made a U turn and headed off to see what this unknown town to me was all about.
Fields and trees were abundant along the country road. Then a community center appeared, but drove by in search of the Dodson Prairie Cemetary. Unbeknownst to me, this prairie church stuck out like a beacon in the bright sunshine as I crest a hill.
What a sight it was to behold. The Dodson Prairie church sat on some acreage and stood out atop a hill. There was no signage for the church, though little exists regarding the church, it seems to be named St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Cannot be sure services are stilled performed at this prairie church, but the road seems traveled leading up to it. The church itself and the acreage is well kept.

Black and Whites. Call me old fashion, but I think photographs are more striking with the absence of...
