POD in Best of Minimalism! Great shot, and I am sure I have seen this years ago in travels, but now I want to go find it and photograph it! Thanks for the inspiration! Did you know Route 66 is getting ready to have an anniversary?
Imagery by Charly replied:
Thank you and you're welcome Toni! Indeed the Mother Road's 80th Birthday is coming up next year. I'd love to drive it all the way in 2020, tho don't think that is in the cards. :(
Imagery by Charly replied:
BTW Toni, recently I saw a pic of this gas station and I'm fairly sure the upper facade over the office is gone... But don't quote me.

Charly....Glad you left the wire in. For me, it's a brilliant metaphor for continuing to hold on to something that is already lost.

Love everything about this Charly! Wonderful layout, colors and aura. (My very favorite thing is the utility wire still attached to the building.) l/f
Imagery by Charly replied:
Thanks Claudia! Yanno I debated a lot about removing that wire and left it in because I couldn't decide. lol

Nice composition. I like the tired, lower right. Adds a lot for me. l/f my BOM-POD

I shot this scene a few different ways and for me, the tires made this my fav. Thanks Kae!
