95.9 the Ranch on FM radio in Fort Worth, Tx., first went on the air in 1970 with call letters KMWT. In 1981 the call letters were changed to KYXS as a country music station. Then in 2002, it took on KFWR permanently, as a country radio station with Texas country, classic country and current country hits.
95.9 FM the Ranch neon sign is iconic in downtown Fort Worth with hits Cowboy, rope, and red, white and blue coloring. The Ranch tagline is Texans, Outlaws and Legends, though it seems they've taken on a new one; The Sound of Texas. Do like the old one best.

Like most people have taken photographs off/on my whole life, but it wasn't until traveling to Ireland that I realized I truly loved it. That trip brought out my passion for Natural Light Photography. The light, the shadows, and overall intensity that I could capture with a camera were simply astounding. Photography presented itself as more of an art form then just snapshots from life. Since that trip I have been honing my skills; focusing on landscapes, architecture, nature and my favorite ...
