Artist's Description

Torn Iconic Dreamcatcher was known as the World's largest and located at Meteor City, AZ. Before the new highways, people traveled Route 66. All along the Mother Road were tourist attractions. The Meteor City Trading Post was historic with all it had to offer travelers.

On the property back when, it had the World's largest; map of Route 66 and Dreamcatcher. The Trading Post has been long abandoned and most of it defaced by graffiti. Netting on the largest dreamcatcher is torn and in tatters.

Rumor has it that the Trading Post and property was bought to restore it to it's glory. Timeline was summer/fall of 2018, yet nothing had been touched as of February 2018 when this image was captured. Here's hoping the iconic tourist attraction will still be restored in 2019.

Photography presented itself as more of an art form then just snapshots from life. Since that trip I have been honing my skills; focusing on landscapes, architecture, nature and my favorite ... Black and Whites. Call me old fashion, but I think photographs are more striking with the absence of...
