Description
St. Mark's Lutheran Church was organized in 1886 and held its first service in 1889. The present structure was completed and dedicated on Christmas Eve 1939.
This iconic building sets on a busy thoroughfare surrounded by modern times located in Cuero, Texas. Cuero is just north of Goliad where the famous Presidio la Bahia is still standing today.
The St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church is a beautiful mission style rendition and fits in well with southern Texas earlier mission Architecture. The terra cotta walkway, palm trees and landscape are the perfect touch and the entire scene is spectacular in wonderful light.
