Description
Built in 1927 by Mr. and Mrs. Bachechi, the KiMo Theater is a historical landmark located in downtown Albuquerque. Mrs. Bachechi gave tribute to the Native Americans who embraced her family, by designing the KiMo theater in Native style.
KiMo in Tewa means Mountain Lion and loosely translates to King of Beasts. One can't help but stand in awe looking at this magnificent piece of Architecture. By the time all people have moved away from this iconic structure, only 2 captures were gotten before the lights went out.
