The First Baptist Church (Colored) is now abandoned. It was built in 1914 and not sure when it closed. In 2007 this great old structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Oh the stories must be many from all those passed and alive who remember worshiping in this grand old girl. Wish it was renovated to its original condition, as too many of the long forgotten beauties are disappearing.
